While psychologists are helping candidates deal with the pressure, traffic departments in Beijing are trying to help them deal with the traffic on the days of their exams.
If students are stuck in traffic, they can call on traffic police, who will do their best to help them reach their destinations as quickly as possible. Temporary traffic control measures will be in place on roads close to exam venues. In addition, all cars carrying one or more candidates will not be subject to traffic control measures in the city. Cars with a license plate number that ends in 5 and 0 are typically banned on Mondays. But exceptions will be made for examinees.
