Israel fires on boat inside Lebanese waters: Lebanese army

The Lebanese army command issued a statement on Monday saying that Israeli army fired from their position in Naqoura on a Lebanese fisher's boat inside Lebanese waters on Sunday, local news website Now Lebanon reported.

The statement said that the Israeli act violated United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the war between Israel and Lebanese Shiite armed group Hezbollah in summer of 2006.

There was no casualties reported.

The fires came after two days when at least two rockets launched from South Lebanon hit Israel, and Israeli army responded with artillery shells to the area. ??
