Liu Miao, much beloved owner of the 2 Kolegas rock joint, must be kicking himself for not beating these guys to the punch and opening BBQ House (yeah, that's the name of the place) himself.
After all, this Turkish/Arabian roast meat shack is bound to benefit from 2K's sloppy seconds. BBQ House is a glorified chuan��r stand, amplified with indoor seating and a big outdoor patio. We recommend the minty lamb grill or chicken skewers (30 yuan); just stay away from the lamb chops.
The chicken shwarma sandwich (20 yuan) is another safe bet. The Arabic salad (20 yuan) and baba ganoush benefit from fresh and tangy veggies, but the hummus with pita (20 yuan) is only okay if you eat it while warm.
Frankly, BBQ House is not worth a special trip; Dareen's Coffee has got better stuff closer to town. But now, at least, if you��re heading to a show, you won't go hungry.
