The All-China Women's Federation agreed on Thursday to undertake a three-year program with U.S.-based GE Money to provide free financial education for disadvantaged women.
The program is designed for low-income women aged 18 to 45 within adequate education. This group includes laid-off urban workers and migrant workers.
The program will offer lectures on family finances, job searches and entrepreneurship for at least 1,500 women.
GE Money is a financial division of General Electric.
