Ayman Taha, a Hamas spokesman, said the first session of the talks would comprise his movement and Islamic Jihad. The other meetings would be held with the remaining factions and are supposed to be completed by next week.
Egypt brokered a six-month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas-led armed Palestinian groups. The agreement took effect on June 19.
"Hamas has no vision to try imposing it on the factions and everything relating to the lull would be subject for discussions," Taha said, expecting that the talks would be "mental-storming sessions."
The ceasefire was left near collapse since last month as cross-border violence between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian militants resumed and Israel sealed off crossing points into Gaza since Nov.5.
