MACAO, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- A Macao Special Administration Region (SAR) official delegation, led by the SAR's Chief Executive Ho Hau Wah, Sunday flew to Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, where they would attend the Ninth Western China International Economy and Trade Fair.
Upon arrival, Ho was scheduled to meet senior officials of the Sichuan Provincial government and attend a welcoming dinner party there.
The chief executive will attend the opening ceremony of the fair and officiate the opening of a liaison office of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute in Sichuan Province on Monday.
The SAR's Secretary for Administration and Justice Florinda Chan will be acting chief executive while Ho is away.
