Madonna and A-Rod's Thanksgiving plan

Madonna is spending Thanksgiving with Alex Rodriguez.

The 50-year-old singer has angered Alex's former wife Cynthia after asking the baseball player to spend the US holiday with her, her three children and her manager in New York.

In an email, Cynthia reportedly wrote: "My 6ft, 3in, 220lbs soulless, soon-to-be ex-husband is abandoning his kids on Thanksgiving to be with Madonna.

She called and he ran on her command back to New York City - gross!" Alex is reportedly smitten with Madonna - whose decree nisi from husband Guy Ritchie was granted last week, beginning the official end to their marriage - and likes the fact she is in charge in their relationship.

A source said: "Alex likes a woman with a strong hand. He likes to be told what to do. He's a bit of a cipher."

Madonna and Guy must now wait six weeks and one day before their decree absolute is awarded, officially ending their marriage. It has been claimed Guy will receive $2 million of the pop superstar's reported $300 million fortune and will share custody of the pair's sons Rocco and adopted tot David.
