MEXICO CITY, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Latin America's three major stock markets ended lower on Tuesday.
Mexico City's IPC stock index fell down by 1.14 percent to 26,636.55 points. A total of 171.2 million shares were traded with a value of about 409 million dollars.
At the Buenos Aires stock market, the Merval index closed at 1,696.60 points, down 0.72 percent. The trade volume was 25.032 million dollars.
In Sao Paulo, Latin America's biggest bourse, the leading Bovespa index closed at 54,502 points, down 0.4 percent. The trade volume was 3.193 billion dollars.
