TOKYO, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks closed more than 2 percent lower Friday.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 287.92 points, or 2.06 percent, from Thursday to 13,655.34.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange fell 31.19 points, or 2.27 percent, to 1,341.76. ¡¡
