Firefighters were called in on Wednesday to free a woman resident of Tianjin municipality whose right hand got stuck in her toilet outflow pipe while trying to rescue her pet turtle, which she had inadvertently poured down the loo along with the water from its bowl.
Firefighters turned off the water supply, carefully broke the bowl and freed both the woman and her turtle without injury to either.
