Meanwhile, the World Bank revised its forecast for Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) growth this year from 5.5 percent to 6 percent.
Ukraine's consumer price index (CPI), the main gauge of inflation, rose 15.5 percent in the first half of this year, according to the reports.
Earlier, Ukrainian government forecasted the country's inflation in 2008 will reach 15.9 percent, and its GDP growth rate would be 6.8 percent.
Ukraine's inflation rate reached 16.6 percent in 2007, while real GDP grew 7.3 percent.
